When we booked dishwasher was in the description but there wasnt one a few things broken and no plug so bath unusable. Automatic air fresher not suitable for anyone with allergies. "The cottage is quintessential Cotswolds -- great place to stay with a family of four. Despite being a cottage, there was plenty of space for four w a lot of luggage. Very walkable with a beautiful ancient church at the end of the lane and good restaurants (Chequers is my favorite) a few minutes away. "The location was close to the high street and conveniently accessible to nearby attractions in the Cotswolds. The house was cozy and warm, making it a great choice for a family winter getaway for a few days. However, there were a few minor details that could be improved, such as the TV remote lacking batteries (we had to purchase and replace them ourselves) and the kitchen knives being quite dull, which made them difficult to use. These small points aside, we had an enjoyable stay overall."

"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. "We have been visiting Oxford for 3 years now since our daughter has been studying at the University. This place far outshines any of the other VRBO listings that we have rented. Very clean, spacious, plenty of facilities for a family to also host guests and friends to attend graduations, get togethers, sporting events etc. Hosts are excellent and work hard to make you feel comfortable and have an enjoyable stay!"

"We had a really nice relaxing break. In fact to point that i may book every few months to get a break. Could do with a few more staff in the bar, but the breakfast was excellent. Room a good size and very comfortable. The evening restaurant food was very good as well and service excellent. Check in was quick and simple. The hotel offered everything we needed. It was a very hot weekend so air con in rooms would have been good. But the air con in the bar and restaurant was perfect. "

"Super impressed with this hotel and our stay in general. Location is great - only a few moments walk from the westgate shopping centre, room was clean and the air con kept us cool all night. The service was really outstanding. My husband mentioned in conversation that it was a birthday treat and within 30 mins we had prosecco, balloons, a handwritten card and a lovely gift delivered to our room, which was such a kind and thoughful gesture!
