House On The Harbour | Pittenweem
This exceptional and beautifully renovated 170 year old harbourside house provides a spacious and comfortable living space. Two large lounges, with a dining room opening onto a sheltered private patio and small sunny private garden. Two king-sized bedrooms and a comfortable twin bedroom provide flexible accommodation.
If you need even more space we have the apartment upstairs (Penthouse on the Harbour) for rent too.
Sleeps 6. Parking. Wifi.
Enjoy the sea in this beautifully refurbished fisherman’s house within yards of the only working harbour in the East Neuk of Fife. See the boats bring in their prawns and lobsters, watch the fishermen repair their nets and experience that special south-facing sparkle of the sun on the waters all from the lounge. You will see seals in the harbour, and perhaps even a whale out in the Firth of Forth. Or sit out the back in the sunny, terraced garden with your cuppa and cast a glance to the
south to the Bass Rock… and if you fancy a walk, the House is right on the Fife Coastal Path.
House on the Harbour opens into a comfortable and spacious sitting room with a feature glass panelled staircase leading to the upstairs living space where the sitting room, kitchen, dining room and patio flow from one to the other. The modern kitchen is well equipped, and the dining room comfortably seats 8 people. The French doors in the dining room lead onto the patio – perfect for outside entertaining with its large table. The upstairs sitting room features a beautiful exposed stone wall and stunning fireplace, and is flooded with light from the three windows. The downstairs bathroom has a bath and power shower, and the upstairs has a luxurious walk in shower.
Original art features throughout the house, with paintings by David Henderson, and a specially commissioned glass panel of Pittenweem life by Keny Drew.
The double garage provides off-road parking and plenty of space for golf clubs, bicycles, kayaks etc.

The house was in a great location close to Pittenweem harbour & Fife Coastal path. The house was lovely, comfortable & well equipped . Had everything we needed for a family weekend break.House had a garage which was great.A lovely patio & garden for lovely sunny days.
The house was very clean and well stocked. Washing machine didn’t seem to work very well but may have been us! Perfect location on the harbour and an easy walk to both St Monans and Anstruther. The weather was kind and the East Neuk beautiful as always. The Dory restaurant was excellent, also East Pier in St Monans. But if you have time The Peat Inn was exceptional. Great girls getaway.

Excellent location in Pittenweem
Enjoyed our 2 night stay in Pittenween. House on the Harbour is in the perfect location near the harbour and a few minutes walk up the hill to the main street. The house is tastefully decorated and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Have no problem giving it 5 stars.
