The property's location is remote. There were insects on the bed and in the room. The amount I was charged differed from the amount I was quoted online. Additional fees were applied to various services.

Sorry for your bad experience at our place. The answers your negative review are in following. 1. It’s summertime so keeping doors closed can keep insects out at any outdoor properties. 2. Expedia are responsible for not providing you accurate information when the property pays city and state tax they should be sued for such negligence but don’t take our word for it. And 3. Credit card fees are applied to almost every businesses so it’s not something new. We still appreciate your business for low rates and such high commission.

Was very clean and quiet the only thing I didn't like was that the door was very hard to open really had to push down on door handle to get it open a safety safety issue and the bath tub did not have a drain plug other then that is was a good hotel
The bed sheets had particales on them, felt like fiber glass. It made you itch we slept on the top sheet after getting up in the middle of the night and taking a shower. Management said they would change the sheets, left all the dirty towels, no cleaning done to the sink or floors. Very small motel, not busy I would think you would go out of your way in a small town to accommodate your guest and build your clientele. Not recommended!!
An excellent value. It is clean and although an older property, it has been updated.
The paint work in the room was sloppy, and the acrylic tub was stained but those are my only real complaints. And at the price point, it seems like a fair exchange.

Was driving late so found this motel off the beaten path. Was 20 miles off I20, further than expected.
Got to motel and had to press the service buzzer after hours. Sorry we woke up the worker.
Not empresses with the room but seemed clean. Had been ‘remodeled’ sometime before we got there. Craftsmanship lacking. Finish work needed extra care to detail. Everything worked though.
Staff was very accommodating and friendly, Chevk in was quick & easy. Room was very clean, quiet & comfortable. Good WiFi, Working TV, Hot Shower, Comfortable bed and large desktop perfect for after hours paperwork.. I will definitely stay here again when I’m in town!

Booked two rooms online. Drove over 4 hours the day of check in, to be told that previous occupants didn't check out....I would think they would be forced to check out if you book rooms but that was not the case. So we had to go find another hotel in an area we weren't familiar with. All while trying to prepare for the funeral we were in town for. Will not be back to try and stay here again.
The beds are comfortable, it was fine. I had to check in outside at a window instead of inside the lobby. I've never had to do such a weird thing before.
The man at check-in was efficient and pleasant. The room was quiet and well maintained. Parking was ample. The motel location was close to downtown and places to eat. It was a good stay.
Worst stay I have ever had with a hotel. I have to disput the charges on my card because they guy who works there refuses to let me speak to the owner and is charging me for damages he claims are left by my REGISTERED SERVICE ANIMAL who he tried to deny entry because he was unaware of the laws.

we're sorry for the inconvenience. As per the follow up, Desk clerk cleared the customer from any damage claims upon checkout, and because no damage was done there was no charge to it. we believe that issue was settled.
Anyhow, our recording footage shows the customer walking out of the room with a [Blanket] which belong to the property. and based on that proof the desk clerk followed motel procedure to charged guest a $30 fee instead of $50 for missing property from room. which customer denied when asked but ma'am, security cameras cannot lie. so thank you for the review. we appreciate your business.

Over booked the room i already reserved charge me twice 2 different prices very rude management
I ended up getting extra charges about $80 worth. I had a pet, paid the pet fee upfront, then after I left they added other charges claiming the dog made a mess (Pet Fee on top of Pet Fee?) My dog is very small and she uses potty pads. After reaching out to Hotels.com, they reached out to this hotel management and then they started claiming additional reasons.. saying a pillow was damaged... Be cautious when staying here, the place was clean and people were nice but decieving when it came to the finances. I won't be staying again here just on principal -I am extrememly dissapointed about the MISC. CHARGES -They should have been more upfront and communicative about the additional fees and issues with the "pillow" etc.

sorry for the inconvience, let me clarify for this you dog fees are for keeping your pet inside your room and have him stay with you we charge that for dog shedding hair and bringing ticks which we have to take care of for our future allergic and skin sensitive customers, and damage fee is for any damages caused by your dog in your watch or not, such as this pillow which was bitten into which tore from its cover to its core of pillow, for you it may be useful pillow but for our customers it is not what we advertise so we had to replace three items which are pillow case, pillow protector, and pillow itself which totaled $40 dollars. its our kindness we only charge you an extra pet fee over its actual cost. so please ask for details next time you aren't sure before making a headline and attempt ruining reputation of a business which been 100 times longer than those nights you have spent here. so thank you for your review. we appreciate your business.
There aren't many choices in Anson, TX for places to stay. Our room was no frills, but clean. Not ultra spacious, but comparable size to plenty of rooms I've stayed in for business travel. We were able to get a king sized bed and tuck our baby's pack-n-play out of the way so we weren't tripping on it in the middle of the night. Parking was available right in front of the room. Perfect home base for the family reunion weekend.
