"They have remodeled since my last stay. The room we occupied was fresh and nicely done. My only critique - they need to have a "finish person" go through and detail the room. Little things that caught my eye - very expensive shutter type blinds that didn't close properly (gap) and kept rolling open. Plus someone ran a screw through the trim board, busted out a piece of wood and just left it. Some touch up with caulk, paint and grout needs to be done as well. The details matter. Staff was excellent, especially Brandi !!! We also had breakfast and lunch in their cafe. Great service and very good food. Overall, very nice stay and we will continue to come back."

"The staff was so sweet and accommodating. Everything you could need for an overnight at the beach. Room by the road had traffic noise but we didn’t mind at all! "

"Great clean room, fridge inside and TV. We did not use pool, there was no need the property is a block away from the beach all the restaurants and stores- very convenient! Great service and promptly responsive service. Grateful for that. Overall I would recommend!"

"I was happy with the location at the first but unfortunately try to reach out to front desk the phone never was answered, I wanted to make a surprise for my husband but it was impossible. The bathroom drain was clogged and the AC was malfunctioning. The bed frame was in front of the TV very difficult to watch TV, the sofa was dirty same as the blue decorative sheet you guys have on top of the bed it had a blood stain. The wine refrigerator was extra loud at night. The most I like about your place was the location I wished I had a better experience."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Silver Surf, the staff were very welcoming, friendly, and customer focused. We had a lovely room, with a sea view. The rooms were cleaned daily, and the building and surrounding area were maintained well. The breakfast was grab and go, and there was a lovely selection every morning, outside seating was also available . There was also a number of BBQ grills available, as a dining option."

"My mom and I recently stayed at this listing for a beach trip. Location was absolutely amazing. We were able to walk to the beach and that was very important to us. The place was clean and looked like to pictures. The listing is a bit misleading. It isn't clear to potential guests that the home is a duplex and will share a wall and a screened in front porch with another guest. I sent the host a message asking whether we should be aware of another group staying right next door. I shared we didn't want to be caught off guard or startled if they arrive late (it was just my mom and I staying). They didn't respond until after we left. I checked my messages repeatedly. The other guests did in fact show up in the middle of the night on our second evening. Definitely startling for two women staying alone. In addition, the handbook/information book for check in/out was incorrect and confusing. The book mentioned a pool and a dishwasher for us to load our dirty dishes at the end of our stay. We did not have either of these amenities at our location. Again, the location was great for us but the other things definitely need attention."

"The whole experience was amazing! Staff was friendly and professional and the parking was VIP and the the lot assistant was great! The location is to die for across from the beach and food and music and beautiful sunsets everynight. After this trip myself and family will be back every year for sure…"
