The deck invites you to relax next to the twin maple trees and enjoy the hot tub, rocking chairs and dinette set with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. This property is a duplex, completely private with the 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths located on the second floor, providing more privacy from the main floor. The outside deck and hot tup are completely private and exclusive to this side of the duplex. There are no shared spaces except for parking. Just 11 minutes to nearest winery and only 20 minutes to Giant City State Park, and close to many wineries. Set in the little town of Anna, with walking distance to shops and resarants. This cozy home is the perfect retreat to come back to after a day of exploring the beautiful Shawnee Hills and wineries.

This place was perfect for a winter getaway. Plenty of space with three bedrooms and two full baths, plus a cozy fireplace and hot tub that we really enjoyed during the snowy weather. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the deck was a nice touch. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Great experience overall. Would recommend, and we will use this place again.

Birthday Getaway

We have stayed at both properties over the last 3 years and have enjoyed the location and the town of Anna. We are able to visit the wineries, Cobden and Murphysboro easily. We like to visit during small business Saturday so we can enjoy all of the town activities that day. On nice days you can walk up the street to The Dinner Bell Too or take a quick drive to the coffee shop downtown.

The house is very central in town. Everything was clean. There's post it notes for everything which was helpfulto the workings of the house. We really enjoyed the hot tub which the weather was cooperative to enjoy it the second night. Would definitely stay here agay

Great Adult Weekend

The location was great and close to the wineries. It is on the main road so traffic was a little loud at night. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. The hot tub was very nice and the host provided plenty of towels and amenities.

My wife and I are from Louisville, Ky and we wanted to get away for our anniversary and had a great time! The house is very nice and spacious and it is stocked with anything you could think of. The back deck lights , hot tub, firepit set the amazing mood. Definitely would recommend this place and we will definitely be back

Family Reunion

We traveled with our sons and extended family for a reunion. We rented both sides of the property and opened it into one big house. The houses were beautiful and everyone loved staying there. The location was close to everything and Kathy was wonderful to work with. This is our second year staying here.

Absolutely adorable duplex. The outdoor patio is the best place to examine Taylor’s lyrics with a glass of wine. And even though you’re not in an isolated location, the proximity to the wineries more than makes up for it!

Perfect weekend getaway.

Everything was exactly as described and even more. The kitchen is fully stocked with every spice you would need. There were plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. The entire house was decorated very nicely and the clenliness was immaculate. Kathy was very responsive to our every need and even went above and beyond! Highly, highly recommend. H9use could comfortably accomodate an ntire family or group.

The home was simply immaculate! Decorated tastefully and so very comfortably! It geeky like home away fun home but better. You simply will have a hard time to find a more charming clean, and ideal location! Saying we loved it durst do it justice. Our caretaker made sure everything was beyond our expectation. Cannot recommend enough. The outside veranda was so inviting. Wish we could have enjoyed that amazing hot tub but maybe next time. So relieved there is a local place in town for my parents to stay when they visit! Thank you Kathy for everything! You're the best!! People don't sleep on this hidden gem.

Fun girl’s weekend!

Our girl’s trip to the Shawnee wine trail and Bald Knob Cross was great! This house in Anna was in the perfect location. Very centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. Beautiful, comfortable home with great bedding, and great bathrooms. The living room was large and comfy and perfect for talking and watching tv. The back yard and deck were welcoming and cool with the large shade tree. The owner was very responsive to our questions and easy to work with. We will stay here again!

Nice In Town Duplex

The property was as described. It was clean and had kitchen and bathroom supplies. It is convenient to in town businesses. Parking was easy. Communication with the host was excellent. The duplex is nicely decorated. It is on a main street so there is some noise. The host provided a white noise machine. Heating and cooling was excellent. The stairs are steep and could be problematic for people with mobility challenges. The porch was very nice.
