Location is good.
It's close to tram, bus, metro and 1 stop to Dam square.
Hotel is really nice and breakfast was fantastic. Only complaint is how small the “small room” was. Definitely worth the upgrade to a larger room. Location is amazing, everything is reachable by foot.
Great location, friendly staff and beautiful building.

An excellent family stay in a centrally located quiet residential area. Breakfast was of high quality and varied. Friendly and helpful staff. A special mention to the lady behind reception who helped my son make his own sweetie bag. Lovely, spacious room. Loved the basketball net, but the stairs not so much!
Lovely staff, convenient location 1 lift so could be difficult getting to and from 4th floor at busy times.
Breakfast continental so sufficient but not too much choice

Perfect location to walk! Right down the street from the Van Gogh Museum and walkable to the Anne Frank House. The building and street were adorable, but the room we were given needed some updates. It was falling apart, lights didn't work and looked like we were the last guests before an upgrade. Besides that, the staff was wonderful and it was a great stay.
Although my particular room was quite small, it absolutely met my needs as a solo traveller. After all, the point of being in Amsterdam is to be out and about!
The room was extremely well-maintained and clean, and I had everything that I needed to be comfortable. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the entire process of checking in and out was smooth and pleasant.
Definitely recommended.
Nice central location. Tram is very close by and near the museums. Restaurants aren’t the closest but within a 10 min walking distance. Room was clean.
Max Brown was a lovely place to stay! The property is charming & the staff were so friendly & helpful! Great location to everything & easily walkable to most things. We had a great time & would definitely recommend this property!

Great location, on a quiet street. Museums, restaurants and a grocery store close by. Very friendly staff. The room was not in the best condition, but acceptable. Liked that toilet and shower was separate, especially when four people try to get ready quickly. We used the fan at night, don’t think there is air conditioning. Good hotel if the price is right.
We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean and housekeeping was in everyday to clean the room. The location is perfect right by a tram station and Vondelpark. The nearby streets and neighborhood was beautiful and many resturants nearby. A great place to stay!

Great location. Room was very small even with EU standards. Stain on carpet. Just ok since we only stay for 1 night during layover.
one of the nicest hotel experiences i have ever had! the staff were exemplary and made our travel hiccups a bit sweeter with understanding and flexibility. location was an absolute gem as we discovered a gorgeous part of the city just a tiny bit away from the centre that made us fall in love with the city more than we thought was possible.
