This hotel was clean and comfortable and we felt safe inside the entire time. The room was pretty spacious and the bathroom had a shower enclosure, which seems to be pretty rare in older properties. It even had a lift! Luggage storage was convenient and free. The only thing to look out for is that if you need a well-lit room or a property that’s very quiet, you might want to look elsewhere. Even with every single light in the room on, it was very dark. There wasn’t a party vibe in the hotel at all but you could hear people as they walked by your room talking and the floor was a bit creaky and shaky. It didn’t cause a problem for us, but if you need silence, it might not work for you. Otherwise, a comfortable, pleasant stay. Take note that this property is very close to the train station, but it is also in the red light district with some interesting vibes and “scenery” as well as some family unfriendly shops.

Centrally located, staff were extremely helpful and friendly, breakfast was adequate, hotel is old but clean with new showers. Perfect place for us to experience Amsterdam!

Amazing hotel!
This hotel was absolutely amazing! Staff was very accommodating and helped us plan and book our tours! The location is absolutely perfect! Walking distance to hundreds ds of amazing restaurants and bars. The train station. Ferry harbor. And the red light district! 10/10!! Thank you!!!

Good: cheap, very convenient, shockingly quiet for the area, elevator available, bathroom was new and pretty nice. Bad: radiator could not keep up with the near freezing temps outside, spots that looked like mold in the room, layout of the hotel is quite odd where even with the elevator I still had to go up and down several sets of stairs to get to my room.

Ok so its not a high end hotel, its not a 5 Star and its noisey all night but the location is amazing. Best for groups wanting to be in the thick of it.
