Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Amitie?
The best area to stay in Amitie, Seychelles, is along Grand Anse Beach.

This area is the main stretch of coastline on Praslin Island's west side, known for its long, sandy beach. It offers a relaxed setting with easy access to the ocean, and hotels here are generally top for their quality and amenities.

Couples looking for a peaceful and romantic escape will find Grand Anse Beach ideal. Many accommodations offer direct beach access, allowing for morning strolls and sunset views. The area is also convenient for exploring other parts of Praslin, with the airport just a short drive away.

For families, Grand Anse Beach provides plenty of space for children to play and enjoy the sand and calm waters.
When is the best time to go to Amitie?
While Amitie in the Seychelles is a beautiful destination year-round, the best time to visit for optimal weather and activities is generally between May and November.

During this period, the weather is typically drier and cooler, with less humidity and a refreshing breeze. This makes it ideal for enjoying the stunning beaches, water sports like snorkelling and diving, and exploring the island's natural beauty without the intense heat and humidity of other months. It's a great time for couples seeking a comfortable and active holiday.

For those interested in fishing, the months of October to April offer excellent conditions for big game fishing, with calmer seas and an abundance of tuna, marlin, and sailfish.
