"We have been in Madagascar 3 weeks and Tropical Paradise Hotel is still our favorite hotel. It is a short tuk tuk ride from town and tuk tuks wait at the road. The staff is amazing, the restaurant is good and the rooms are comfortable except the bed. The only negative we have is that the mattress was thin and after 5 nights it got pretty uncomfortable. I wish I had asked the staff to change it though, because I bet they would have."

"Hotel very well located. It is on the beach, pied dans l'eau. Fantastic views in the morning and at sunset. The staff (Eva, Annie, Naslad) is very welcoming and spoke good french and some english. All attractions like the Lemuria land and Lokobe reserve are quite near. A 10 minute ride in a tuk tuk will get you to Ambatoloaka and 20 miutes to Hell Ville. Frequent power failures. "The hotel is Bungalow type where can haves the private space to relax. However, night time I lost the way back to the room because it is like a maze and no name and number for each Bungalow except that the hotel is amazing."
