« Property is well located and beds are comfy. It was very cold in the property when we arrived as the thermostat had been turned to 10 degrees and there were no matches to light the fire. The whole property felt like it needed a bit of a refresh.....walls marked, some mirrors cracked, doors & handles chipped, kitchen equipment mismatched and well used, some kitchen equipment broken, dining room chair broken and not usable. « The house is beautiful. It's built around a courtyard with the bedrooms on one side and the living rooms on the other. So, even if some people are up late in the evening, it doesn't disturb those who want to go to sleep. There were 8 of us including 2 children and we had plenty of space. The many bathrooms made getting ready in the mornings very easy. The village has no facilities, but everything you need is a short drive away. I would definitely recommend. »

« Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. « Lovely property, decorated in a lovely way although strong smell of fish downstairs that would not go. The fridge smelt of fish and not sure if this was the issue or the damp and mould on some of the walls.The beds were not super comfy but fine for a few nights.
