Being at the iconic palace featured in The Sound of Music felt magical, and the beautiful grounds and lakeside setting made it unforgettable. For the accommodations and overall hotel experience, I would give it 4 out of 5. Still, for any fan of the movie, this is a special place well worth experiencing."

"We used the hotel as an overnight stay for an early flight. The room was spotless and we appreciated the complimentary mineral water and Nespresso coffee machine. The bed was also very comfortable. The only drawback is that the hotel is very difficult to find if approached on foot."

"A very nice place to stay while in Salzburg. The #1 Bus drops off and picks up basically steps from the hotel and that gets you to the Altstadt quickly and conveniently...they even supply a daily ticket covering your entire stay. We liked the coffee machine in the room. The air-conditioning was also appreciated. For the most part, the staff was helpful and friendly. Not all rooms are elevator accessible, we had one flight to climb. The breakfast was good, but we thought a bit high priced. All in all, it's a nice hotel, it's in a great location and the beds are comfortable. We'd definitely stay there again. Thank you for making our Salzburg visit a success."
