"Finca Ometepe is tucked up against the Volcano Madera about 2km past the town of Balgue. They have many fruit trees, fresh eggs, and even homemade goat cheese when we stayed there. The casita kitchen is well equipped. We were warmly welcomed and really enjoyed our stay here."
"Only place on the island that locks the gates to the hotel at 8pm. Every night except one we had to climb the fence to get in to go to are room. Not late 9at night no one around it was like a prison. Nice place but was a pain in the ass and the last thing I wanted to do after a day of adventuring is climbing a fence ripping my shorts on the spikes every night. To walk around the hotel yelling to get someone to come open the gate for everyone else who could not climb the fence. "

"Hotel Victoriano is a gorgeous hotel. They take really great care of the grounds and the hotel itself. Everyone that worked there was amazing. Carlos was especially helpful. I would highly recommend waiting to book expeditions and car services until you talk to him. I could have saved so hundreds of dollars (literally) had I known him before booking this trip. You are close to everything you need to be close to, everything is within walking distance so it is easy to run in and out. Also, I would recommend getting a room with an ocean view, even though my room was nice I wish I had booked an ocean view."

"Loved staying here especially **during a weekday** staff and guest were polite about the noise and respected closing time at the bar making it quiet after 9/10pm.
The restaurant is styled like a sports bar, it has great breakfast selections, not sure about lunch/dinner. The coffee options were 10/10. For a hostel it felt more like what tourist can expect at Hotels: clean sheets, comfortable bed/pillows, towels, great a/c, tv with apps, and your private bathroom.
Disclosure rollaway beds are not available here. There’s no parking but I had no issue parking my car on the street.
Overall I would stay here again, not sure how noisy it can get on the weekends considering other reviewers but like I mentioned that wasn’t an issue for me during the week.
