Amazing resort. Cozy little rooms but perfect for watching the northern lights. Room has a glass ceiling so you can look out for the lights from your own bed! The private hot tub was also epic. Recommend it hands down. Also recommend the horse drawn sleigh ride

Loved our stay! I wish we would have organized to stay on the property during the day - there is so much to do and see:-) Sleighrides, sauna, etc. Breakfast was amazing!

Was a fantastic stay for a week, just out of town so a car comes in handy. The outdoor spa was amazing perfect to sit in to take the chill away watching the northern lights or even in bed with the glass roof.

Hidden pearl

Great small villa with all you need! View and surroundings was beautiful and peacefull. Bed was perfect to sleep and jacuzzi as a cherry top of a cake. This is like a hidden pearl. I can highly recommend!

Small but got everything you need

A perfect place if you are hoping to see the northern light and want some peace and quiet. The cabin is small but have all you need from a comfy bed to free wifi. The only thing we missed was some storage for our clothes. The hot tub is great and it´s a special feeling to use it when it´s below 10 minus C outside. We defenitely recommend this place and was also lucky the watch the northern lights a couple of times :)

Magical

This is a beautiful secluded place to spend a few days. sitting in the hot spa while it was snowing was magical! We went on the Northern lights sleigh ride and it was amazing, we enjoyed sliding through the trees beside the river, the lights showed themselves to top off a wonderful evening. In the morning a local moose stopped by for a meal. We had delays with our taxi at the end of the trip and were offered a ride to the airport which was very much appreciated.

Everything we hoped for and more!

We were seeking a quiet hideaway in nature for walks in the forest, breakfast in bed and lazy afternoons with a book. The sauna and jacuzzi was a wonderful addition that really helped us to relax. The service and friendliness of the family team was faultless and they made us feel very welcome. We were lucky enough to see the magical dancing sky on our last night and it was breathtaking! Highly recommend for an idyllic and quiet place to relax and enjoy the northern lights away from the crowds. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This place is magical!

Incredible experience! We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights both nights of our stay, whether relaxing in the jacuzzi or laying in bed. It felt like we were in the middle of nowhere with stunning views, yet the city of Alta was just a few miles away—truly the best of both worlds. I didn’t want to leave! The beds were super comfortable, and the space was thoughtfully designed with everything we needed. We shared a bottle of wine, cooked a meal (since the restaurants were closed), and soaked up the amazing scenery!

This was a delightful Swedish designed cabin with wonderful windows, perfectly equipped for Aurora watching. The adjustable bed was comfortable and warm, the hot tub ready for a soak after a long cold day. We missed the Aurora, as it was not a good KP and cloud cover was heavy with snow, but the cabin was delightfully romantic! Enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was tasty, however my Omelet was burned on the bottom.

I can’t rate this accomodation highly enough. The cabin itself was beautiful, we loved the view and the jacuzzi was incredible. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed thanks to the glass roof! We were always very warm with the underfloor heating ans fireplace, and had all the facilities we needed. We had car issues on the way to a tour, and the owner went out of his way to call to have this fixed (he had absolutely no obligation to help), and drove us to our tour so we didn’t miss out. We also had breakfast delivered to the cabin one morning and it was fantastic. If staying, please make sure you are confident in driving in difficult conditions!

Flatmoen Lodge was a Dream !!! The owners were unbelievably kind, courteous & attentive!!! The cabin was awesome!!! Watched the Aurora Bourialis from bed. This is a ranch & offer Horseback riding, horse drawn sleigh ride (which we went on) ;-)

Beautiful place

Great place, on the outskirts of the city. Quiet, peaceful, charming. We spent 2 nights in this place and we will definitely come back. Although this is a recommended place for observing the aurora, it is still good to stop there at this time. We saw a moose in the clearing nearby. Hosts very helpful and friendly. We recommend this place to everyone and we will definitely come back.

Our Flatmone Natur stay was amazing. The little cabin was very cozy. Having our own hot tub after full days of backcountry skiing and other artic activities was great. Levi and his father were both so welcoming and happy to assist with any needs we had. We had a rental car which made getting to and from town very easy (about 10 to 15 min drive). Very close to Holmen Husky and Glod explorer, which bith had many outdoor activities to partake in. We did the sleigh ride and dinner one night and had a wonderful time with the owner. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a winter adventure!

This property and our stay here was nothing short of pure magic. The cabin was so cozy, private, and well stocked. The jacuzzi right on the deck was the best addition. We saw the northern lights 2 nights in a row and viewing them sitting in the tub was a dream come true. We also saw the lights right over head while laying in the very comfy bed looking out the sky lights. The farm is a winter wonderland and highly recommend taking a sleigh ride with Johnny! He is incredibly friendly and takes a lot of pride in his farm and animals. Don’t skip his breakfast either, those pancakes and bacon were amazing with that perfect homemade touch. We didn’t want to leave and have already planned to come back next year to stay longer. This farm will always hold a special place in our hearts. Thank you for a wonderful experience we won’t soon forget. Give the horses some extra pets from us. We miss you all so much already! 10 out of 5 stars!!!

Sin duda fue expectacular,la mejor experiencia que e tenido.El lugar está perfecto,desde el techo de la habitación veíamos las auroras boreales.Todo muy limpio y las camas son bien cómodas,hasta tienen control de posición.El personal son demasiados amables,llegué después de las 11 pm y llegando nuestro carro se atoró debido a q me equivoqué de entrada y por la nieve se atoró y ellos bien amables nos ayudaron a esa hora.Sin duda recomiendo este lugar y volvería a quedarme.Todo es hermoso
