Search Chalets in Alston from CA $325

This was the best of the many places we stayed in the UK. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. We'd highly recommend it to our friends.

The hosts were very friendly. A wonderful breakfast, made especially for us!

The room was immaculate, and the bed was very comfortable. Sue makes a superb breakfast.

The staff were very welcoming. They made sure that everything we needed was there and we knew how it worked.

Clean room, 200 year old hotel but rooms renovated in 2018. Very helpful, accommodating staff, excellent food.

Excellent on all counts. Rooms food staff and close hike to Hadrians Wall! Highly recommended.

Beautiful property and gardens. Everything was immaculate and the hosts were extremely helpful. Probably best to have a rental car as the bus service is not great in that area.

Excellent service, grounds are immaculate, interesting history. Our room was very nice.

Nice place, short stay

Unique old-fashioned atmosphere, great beer, dinner, room a tad small but comfy, very warm personnel, great base to visit Carlisle, Hadrian’s wall and Lake district

A 5 min walk from the station but convenient to everything. We were a little early on checking in but it wasn’t a problem. The host is pleasant and helpful. It is of coarse an old building so the floor creeks but Double pane windows make it a nice quiet place. I wish we were staying longer.
