« Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. The listing states it has one bathroom and photos show two. In reality, there are three full bathrooms! All on rhe first...

« Creekstone Lodge was absolutely perfect! Our group of five women celebrating 40 years of friendship felt instantly at home. « The room was clean and the king bed was quite comfortable. The heater was a bit loud but very effective, and the heated air fan in the bath was a nice touch; plenty of hot water, too. The microwave oven was small but worked well, and the mini-fridge was bigger than many we've seen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and cheerfully accomodated our late arrival. »

« We had a wonderful stay. The cabin's location & setting is great: surrounded by trees, no neighbors, easy drive to the lake and mountain. The house is well appointed: nice amenities and decor. The host is very responsive. Would come back if we return to Deep Creek! »
