We had a lovely view over the vineyard and Lake Seneca, very peaceful and serene. The hotel and rooms are a little dated but everything was very clean and the location more than makes up for it.

The best staff I have seen in a long time. All very kind and helpful. Clean room and very nice bed and linens. Breakfast was simple but had something for everyone.

We had an amazing stay here! The hotel was spacious, spotless, and had a beautiful modern design. You can tell they put a lot of thought into every detail. We loved all the little extras, especially the complimentary snacks and the bath bombs. They made the stay feel so welcoming and luxurious.

The view was phenomenal. We were there in late October and were able to see all the autumn colours. The food at the onsite Bistro was excellent. Be sure to reserve your spot early. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

An innovative and unique experience to stay in an old school roadside motel where the charm of the retro and historical nature still exists with a modern touch. I love the idea of revitalizing a local property and name that has been around for decades. Beautiful location near the lake and next door to a State Park, we enjoyed the hikes! Food was delicious and grounds were beautiful.

We actually was relocated from our original reservation which was only 6 mins from Watkins Glen State Park. Our initial reservation was confirmed but when we arrived at the property, there was no more available room. We had no choice but to go to where Expedia found for us to stay for the night on August 29th, which is 35 mins drive from Watkins and 32 kms away. However, it turned way better. I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at the Burdett House. Not only are Ashley and Dave fantastic hosts they sure know how to make a phenomenal breakfast. Their home is super clean, meticulously maintained and provides a super cozy vintage feel. The location is walking distance to some of the wineries and a quick drive into town/near hiking trails. Thank you again for the awesome visit. We hope to be back!
