"Looked like the room was clean and well kept however when we turned in for the night there was a pair of dirty panties left on the door handle from the previous guests… when we were out on the patio that night we realized the bench was broken and needed repaired the next morning when we left for breakfast the bench was gone zero communication they’d be coming into our duplex or that they would be removing the broken bench. Not mad they removed it just it was weird as there was no way they got it without entering through our duplex and not a word that they had done so. Also the flooring in the kitchen was kinda breaking up I walked barefoot into the kitchen and got a huge splinter in my foot. There was no information on WiFi or tv channels or room ordering or even what number duplex we were staying in I had to ask and they didn’t seem able to give directions to our cabin duplex either. The property is stunning with beautiful grounds and a creek to swim and play in and bikes to rent. The creek side grille breakfast was very good and a reasonable price. We enjoyed eating outside as it was very pretty off the back deck of the lodge. I’m not at all upset with our stay and we would stay again."
