This property is beautiful inside and out with only the finest furnishings in every room. The beds are super comfortable and the owner has not missed any detail in making sure every room is equipped with anything anyone could want. I really love staying here. It is so quaint to get the room key and check in from the diner. The diner has some great sfaff and the food is very filling. They make your food when you order it. It's nice to have good food that's not fast food. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Wonderful last minute find as we were passing through Lexington Virginia. The host family were very professional and attentive to all our needs during our stay. I would highly recommend the Abigail Inn for a short or longer stay in the area.

Last minute trip to spend one night in Virginia. What a blessing we did that!! Gristmill Inn is wonderfully managed, Watermill Restaurant is one of the best restaurant which was a pleasant surprise. This is the place to stay for your family, clean, helpful staff and an amazing breakfast. Complementary coffee , tea and cookies. Wish I could have stayed my whole vacation.
