It's about a 25 min drive from Post but well worth the drive. We enjoyed the pond, canoes, pedal boats etc. The kids fished from the stocked pond which is catch and release. Our group enjoyed the fire pit at night and the beautiful scenery of the mountains from the deck and of course the Jacuzzi was a nice way to hang out at night. Everything inside and out exceeded our expectations. We have stayed at several VRBO properties over the years and this property by far has been the best "stocked" property. The spice rack had every kind of spice if you so choose to cook, there were binoculars by the back porch to watch the deer in the field, there were multiple types of coffee, there were robes for the hot tub, firewood for the fire pit, etc. etc. I highly recommend the lodge for anyone looking for a quality getaway with privacy. We stayed with another family and there was plenty of room to have space if needed and all sit together for meals. The rocking chairs on the covered porch overlooking the field and pond were perfect for coffe and a blanket in the mornings. The beautiful stone fireplace was perfect in the evenings, while the kids were having a movie night upstairs. We have unanimously voted yes to coming back!
