Starlite Resort

10/10 Excellent

"Wonderful retro vibe on the outside. Cute and fun gathering spots spread around the spacious grounds. Great place for families or group stays. Pool is nice and enclosed. Room was spacious and had a fridge. Bathroom was spacious. The room even had a jacuzzi tub in the corner that look big enough for a couple of people. Not sure if the jacuzzi tub comes in all the rooms but it gave my wife and I a chuckle. Don’t get me wrong it is a renovated property from the 50’s or 60’s, but they have done a good job on it. There was a dehumidifier in the room so you don’t get that feeling of humidity in the air like you do in some older hotels where the AC just blows cold air but a feeling of dampness remains. The dehumidifier helped negate that feeling. The downside is that it is an extra applicable running. But if you like sleeping with white noise then it’s great. Breakfast was continental with mostly packaged pastries, cereal, and instant oatmeal. Coffee was available too. We only stayed one night but would stay here again. It’s only. She’s five minute drive to downtown saugatuck so very convenient."

Best Western Plus Wayland Hotel

"We did not have hot water in our shower nor did we have electricity in our bathroom. The front desk person was not any help as I launch our complaint. So we did not get a shower for the day. Hopefully the hotel will give us some kind of refund. But this front desk person kept saying go get your refund from Expedia. We will see"

Captain's Quarters Motel

10/10 Excellent

"Although the room wasn’t huge for 2 beds, it was very nicely done. They thought about every issue you can have: storage, electrical plugs, etc. In our room, there was even a light in the bath overhead that acts like a nightlight. My cousin and I were very impressed. We were close to town but out to make it easy to take day trips elsewhere. I can see where it might be a little challenging to park in Saugatuck during season."

Park House Inn

10/10 Excellent

"On arrival we were greeted by Nadia who is the Inn Keeper. She was most gracious and had suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We were very pleased about the proximity to the downtown area and how walk able it was, the harbor is so close. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast every morning was excellent. There was an Espresso machine available for any coffee needs at any time, very nice! The Inn was well appointed with lovely,comfortable furniture and the wrap around porch had plenty of seating and had an area with an outdoor fireplace with the fixings for a fire if one would so choose. It is a lovely place and we look forward to staying there again."

Best Western Plaza Hotel Saugatuck

6/10 Okay

"Great location for a visit to downtown Saugatuck & neighboring Holland. Two story property. Choose room, if possible, on the 2nd floor so you are not bothered by the creaking ceiling from guests above you! The breakfast area is very small. There are food trays available if you have to eat in your room. The offerings are:bread, small pastries, cereal, milk, juice, yogurt, scrambled eggs, a breafkast meat, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, and a coffee table in the reception are-right outside the eating area. The room is comfortable. We had two Queen size beds with plenty of pillows- which are very soft. Bring your own if you need a support pillow."
