"We were visiting Puy du feu and the room was perfectly adequate as somewhere to sleep. A bit basic and tea making facilities would have been nice. It was very hot so having no windows was a blessing and leaving the door open with the shutter down helped. Reception staff very friendly and helpful and buffet breakfast better than expected "

However, we found that the bathroom had not been checked as there was no toilet paper and only one light working which made it very dim and lights out in main room. "Room was very hot and security meant it wasn't possible to leave a window open overnight. It was a tiny room, a bit cell-like. The pillows had weird synthetic elasticated covers on. I don’t think I'd choose to spend another night there. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the breakfast was OK. "

"Maybe it was my fault but I did not realise there were communal showers and toilets. You have to pay for a towel-small charge. The bed was the worst I have ever slept in-it appeared to be a solid piece of foam. The wifi stopped working in the morning and was not repaired. The staff do not speak english and did nothing about the wifi. Maybe you get for you pay for!"

"Very nice clean and comfortable property. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Restaurant food was excellent and well priced. A 2 minute drive takes you to a small town where you will find more restaurants and a small supermarket which sells the most expensive water in the world but there is a bigger supermarket further along. Would definitely recommend this hotel and the only suggestion I would have is for a small fridge in the room."

The Gentleman on reception took us to our room, which was at the rear of the main hotel building.
