"Hotel the Leben exceeded my expectations in all areas. It is spacious, clean and located a short distance away from the main shopping streets of Shinsaibashi and night life of Osaka. It is a 15 min walk to Dotonburi where you will find the Glico Man as well as 2 donki hote chains. The hotel also provides plenty of amenities, including a good selection of tea in the lobby. While the hotel has washing machines, there is also a 24h coin laundry just a street behind the hotel - 2 mins walk away. It is also beside 2 convenient stores. I can't tell you how lucky I felt to have chanced upon this gem of a hotel."

Nice hotel good location

"Convenient location to metro and train to Gion, Kyoto. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast and the lounge area with complementary coffee and tea always available. Room was a decent size by Japanese standards and we enjoyed our stay except for the 3 am fire alarm. We took the emergency stairs to the back of the hotel but were locked in a pen, unable to get out to the street. If this had been a real fire people would be trapped in the stairwell once the small fenced in area was full. Fire fighters took about 20 minutes to respond!"

"We loved our stay here! The location was in such an awesome area which was buzzing day and night, but still felt safe. Only a 5-minute walk away from Metro stations making it very convenient to get around. The staff were amazing! We had a canceled flight out of Japan and the lovely lady at reception helped us to contact the Baggage Delivery service we used to ensure everything was sorted for our new flights. We did day trips to Nara & Kyoto from here and it was a very convenient area to base ourselves from. It did take about 45 minutes to get from Shin-Osaka bullet train to here, but was an easy route. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Comfortable, clean and very roomy and spacious well thought out room with great amenities! Staff helpful and kind. Convenient 10 minute walk to 2 different major train stations and close to Namba Parks and huge shopping underground. Highly recommend and will stay again if we return!"
