"Not exactly the arrival experience we expected. We were charged an additional $19 amenity fee at check in that had already been paid through the app and had to go back and forth before it was finally refunded. The first room smelled so bad we couldn’t even stay in it. Staff did switch us quickly, which we appreciated, but the second room still didn’t feel very clean. The bedding and pillows were pretty subpar, and the sheets were rough and itchy enough to make sleeping uncomfortable. Definitely not the level of comfort or cleanliness we were hoping for."

"I traveled with a friend and we were so happy with our room. Not only did we each have our own bed, we also each had our own closets and bathrooms. Hotel is in an ideal location, easily walk around town, no car needed. We stayed 2 nights. Dinner at Swamp Fox was delicious! "

"The pool heater was broken. Water too cold for swimming. Coffee in room only made expresso. These two issues ruined my stay as I only book hotels with a pool and coffee. The coffee shop opened at 7am. I wake up at 5am. I really should have gotten a major discount. The hotel itself was fine. Good location. "

"Easy parking. Clean room, close to restaurants, pier for walking. Was disappointed with limited view from first floor creekside for the price. Recommend 2nd floor room."

"During my recent vacation, we stayed at 7 different hotels. Oddly enough, though this was the highest priced, this was our least favorite of all our stays. It's beautiful and in a very convenient location, but we would pick a different hotel in the same area for our next trip. "

"This was a great location in Mt Pleasant, especially if you want to visit Patriots Point and Fort Sumter. Still close to downtown Charleston or the beach, so I would highly recommend if you are looking to do a variety of things while in town. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the breakfast was a pretty typical, decent free hotel breakfast. Parking was easy as well, although the parking lot seemed to share with another hotel and it got a little more crowded at certain times. We went to Orlando’s (right next to the hotel) and Page’s Okra Grill while here and really enjoyed both. I would stay here again."

"This was not our kind of place. Rooms were ok clean. We ended up not having a pet with us but for a pet hotel ok. A/c did not work properly in either room we were in. Floors were filthy in both rooms. Staff rude unless manager in office. Good location to many attractions. We do not recommend staying here."
