We had a spacious 2 bdrm right on the water, more than enough space for 4 of us We had a firepit on the water and we used the bbq for burgers. The proximity to Algonquin is unbeatable for a very fair price

The room was clean and had a nice view of the water. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This is the second time we stayed here as it's not too far from Algonquin Park. We'll come back next year for sure.

This was a good place to stay for one night before heading into Algonquin park for some camping! Riverfront rooms have a nice view and places to sit outside.

We loved this motel on the lake! Located right on Oxtongue Lake, adjacent to a Trading Post, with a great nature trail, Beetle Lake just a short walk. Ragged Falls also hike able, and canoe, kayaks are available to paddle to the Falls or through the lake. It's also close to the west gate of Algonquin park itself. We also walked down to Algonquin Pizza and Paninni and had excellent homemade Samosas and ham and cheese Paninnis.

We spent two nights here to celebrate our anniversary, and it was the perfect setting peaceful, cozy, and right by the water. The atmosphere made the whole trip feel special; quiet mornings by the lake and relaxed evenings made it easy just to enjoy being together. A lovely, low-key getaway we'd happily do again!

The room was definitely clean. Everything about it was clean. We chose the more "cost effective" room which, on second thought, we would rather upgrade to a room with a view next time. I guess for the price (considering the cost of other hotels) we did well. Just a clean basic room.

The property is pretty old. It has a feeling of motel. There is a dehumidifier in the front lobby working 24/7. A shower curtain was mouldy and needs replacing. OK to stay for one night. It is probably much better in the summer as there is a direct access to the river with a kayak rental facility close by. Budget accommodation.

We stayed here twice this summer to get a head start on backcountry camping as it’s very close to Algonquin Park’s West Gate. Both times, we arrived late on a Friday evening and our room number was posted on the front office door which made check in easy outside of their front desk hours. I appreciated the convenient parking and felt safe leaving my vehicle parked overnight fully loaded with camping gear and canoe.

This was a nice get away, very quiet, peaceful, we especially appreciated the fact that there was a firepit for every room just out the door on a beach. However, it was a bit of a surprise that it looked just somewhat like the pictures. The property has a great potential and could use some update.

Lovely location, with clean cabins, although quite well worn. The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed a nice swim after our travels. We enjoyed our stay and had no significant issues.

The room was clean. At one point we had no water but the staff fixed it. It seemed like a common issue. The property is very outdated and needs several renovations. The restaurant was not open and hasn’t been open all year. Their website should be updated with this information. If your looking for somewhere just to sleep it’s ok. The online pictures make it look better than what it is. It’s too bad this property has huge potential. Some renovations and property clean up would hugely help this place

Our stay at the resort was fun and enjoyable. The lake view was great. The staff were great and very accommodating especially Mike & Kai. However during our stay there was a power failure from around 4pm to 10pm. The resort does not have back up generator so there was no water as well.. They have to provide us with 2 jugs of water for our use. Over

Staff very friendly when checking in. Property looked a little neglected. Weeds everywhere, grass not cut. A/C working good. Bed was comfortable enough. Great location between Huntsville and Algonquin Park. A thorough cleaning, some paint here and there, cleaning of bbq’s on the common deck and I would rate it higher.
