"Lovely room and surroundings."
the room and the resort were very pretty. the restaurant had good food, but extremely slow service. We arrived late but called the number on the door and the guard came and let us in immediately. The beds were harder than we are used to, but that seemed to be the case all across Portugal.

"excellent hotel, short walk to the beach"
Went to this hotel in late August 2015 and really enjoyed the experience. We had one of the deluxe suites which was huge...2 x bedrooms, 2 x bathrooms, lounge area with fridge etc Room was cleaned every day and was spotless...the only thing I could complain about was the colour of the walls which were brown...not my cup of tea, but it didn't spoil the stay. There were plenty of swimming pools...some busy, some quiet...so catering for all preferences. No problem pitching up at 9.30am to the pool and securing some loungers either which was a relief after other hotels I've been to in Spain etc Food was of a good quality with a choice of 3 x restaurants (Portuguese, Italian & Grill). One peculiarity was that you needed to book a table in one of them for dinner rather than just pitching up. There was live music most evenings which were nothing special but helped wile away the evenings over a few glasses of wine. Beaches were superb...some of the best I've been to, long & wide with plenty of space to sit, play with the kids, build sandcastles or swim... We took a couple of trips into Albufeira which was very busy, nice restaurants, but the evenings there were pretty much geared up for teenagers or twenty somethings. Another trip was to Splash & Slide waterpark. This was a 20min taxi ride from the hotel and was brilliant. Plenty of water slides for the kids & adults to enjoy...essential to book in advance & pitch up early to avoid a long queue. thoroughly recommended!

"Excellent choice for adults, even in School hols."
My wife and I just returned from a quick 5 night stay. The hotel is 6 years old, but still looks as new. The location is out on a limb (3 miles from the Vilamoura marina & main tourist zone), however that lends itself to the relaxed and calm pace around the hotel. When you want to go into town there is a free shuttle bus that runs about 6/7 times during the day & evening, and returns from the sister hotel (Tivoli Marina). The breakfast is excellent, the staff very friendly and the rooms are large and well furnished. For those of us who want a quiet and relaxed time during the day, there is a large 'adults only' pool area, away from the main family pool, and this is an oasis of calm.

"Great Hotel Great Location"
Really enjoyed my stay here at the Hilton Vilamoura. Great location and the hotel really is stunning and the staff are great, always friendly and happy to help. My one small gripe would be the need to hire more staff. The bar staff by the pool in the height of the summer are u see pressure making cocktails And trying to keep everyone happy. Also in the mornings at the buffet the staff are run ragged and it lead to a large queue outside the restaurant. However, the hotel is great and I would 100% stay again and recommend it to others.

"Excellent family hotel with awesome swimming pools"
Stayed August 2015 for a week in a one bed apartment, half board (2 adults, 2 kids). We are definitely considering returning. Room was large and well equipped. Our dishwasher was faulty, but replaced with a new one within a few hours of reporting it. We were on the top floor, with great views, but a hazardous balcony for young children. Was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. Although the buffet appears small, there is actually more choice than you realise and you can still order from the menu if there isn't anything you like. The themed menus (offered on 5 of the 7 nights) included a carafe of house wine for free or soft drinks for kids. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choice, the fresh fruit was delicious. It is hard to criticise, but the evening buffet could do with either more staff serving on the buffet or self service, as unnecessary short queues often formed as it was slower than it needed to be. The evening desserts were great. My only issue with the hotel is charges, we received a list of charges (in a sealed envelope) on arrival so these were not explained. But these charges did not appear relevant (housekeeping was provided every day, but on the charges it was listed a twice a week and daily was at a cost). The hotel is a mix of timeshare, self catering and half board, so it is confusing to what is free and what is at a cost. We could have asked, but didn't want to waste time at reception detailing over costs. Overall a great holiday!

"Great Resort for everyone!"
The 8 of us had a great holiday, 4 adults and children from 13 to 18. This is a large resort with many facilities for all tastes and ages. There are plenty of restaurants onsite, a few good ones, just off-site too down on the beach. The Praca is the main hub on the beach which like all facilities can be accessed easily with the site autobus which we used several times a day to go to the tennis academy, the golf course, the club house, the beech, and the supermarket. There are some watersports down on the beech, and plenty of beds if needed, the stretch of beach is superb and perfect for all those who do enjoy all that a beech offers. The facilities were in the main excellent, although pools were probably only ok. We used the tennis academy one mostly, as it wasn't too busy and meant we could play panel, tennis or go to the gym onsite we never used the main one at Breeze in the Praca, as although it was far larger, it was short of beds and not as impressive as the rest of the resort. I would throughly recommend it! I generally struggle on resorts as the facilities never seem to occupy me for as long as 10 days, however, I feel I could have managed a full two weeks quite easily. We were going to hire a car, however, the resort bus, got us around efficiently. Prices in the restaurants were reasonable, but definitely not cheap, and there was a nightclub, but can't comment as we were too chilled to give it a go. I would thoroughly recommend it!

"Great stay. "
We came at night and it was hard to find and a bit overgrown. The layout is a bit confusing but once there, we found the rooms to be nice, bed comfortable (but roll away not so good), good breakfast, and the staff was very nice. Yes, we would definitely return.

"Delightful hotel"
A really lovely stay in a well run, delightful hotel. Efficient and incredibly friendly and cheerful staff. Comfortable rooms, well kept areas throughout. A really amazing swimming pool and surrounding area. Maybe a touch stuffy here and there which might be suited to those who take their golf very seriously. We had a wonderful and relaxing stay during our five nights there and were so impressed by the cheerful and helpful attitude of staff. A special mention should be made of Gabriel who seemed to oversee the catering of all the restaurants and breakfast buffet - he was great and we wondered when he found time to sleep. We will certainly return to this hotel - it was perfect for a great break.
