"Good stay but minor issues prevent top marks"
A really nice place to stay and the staff r so very helpful n friendly. The onsite restaurants are slightly more expensive than in is purely a buffet at night. A nice feel to the place with 4 pools and a separate kids area. One pool is adult only. All r very nice but watch out for odd seagull divin down to the pool. But nice relaxin place hotel provide really nice towels and dont alliw guests to reserve beds with towels. The apartments are roomy and have most of what ya need. Ours had several items missin (corkscrew, spoon) ,the air conditioning in lounge sittin area didnt seem to work....came on but pumped out warm air, fortunately bedroom did work. Otherwise it does deliver a great place to stay.

"Excellent for young children"
The resort is fantastic for young children with playgrounds, pools and clubs galore. The villas are fab. Only problem is the food. The terrace is the only restaurant that does good food. Others are poor. The supermarket on site is poorly stocked and far too expensive eg. 18€ for 11 swim nappies. Take a taxi to the local supermarket. Would say it's more of a 4 star but still a great holiday destination.

"A pleasant stay, but we won't be returning."
A lovely hotel with good facilities. However, it was expensive for what we wanted. The apartment was huge - spacious and well appointed, but we just didn't use the lounge area. The pool areas were great - lots of room. We were told by other guests that it's very crowded in June, but for us, September was fine. The pool was freezing cold - really took your breath away, but better when you'd been in a while. Don't bother with the airport transfers - the system is useless. We arrived 20 mins early, but 40 mins after our scheduled arrival, they still couldn't find the driver for the transfer we'd booked. We also asked (the day before we left) to arrange a transfer back to the airport. Guess what - nothing was available, so we ended up with a (more expensive) taxi. The hotel also managed to charge just over 10 Euros for stuff we hadn't had. When I asked to see the check, they produced a printed form. I asked again to see the signed check. When they couldn't produce it, the took the charges off, but no apology! We talked to lots of folk who'd been coming for years and will no doubt continue to come, so it does have its attractions. For the most part, it was OK - a few niggles, but good points too. However, we've looked at alternatives. For the price we paid this time, there are better options for us to explore.

"Ria Park Hotel Stay"
Just arrived back after a most pleasant stay at the Ria Park Hotel. All the staff were friendly and most intentive. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel itself was clean and tidy and the pool area was surrounded by palm trees and we spent many a relaxing time under them along side of the pool. The only downside, if any, I would suggest hiring a vehicle as it is in a residential area and we had to hire taxis to get to the various places to visit. I would highly recommend the Ria Park Hotel.

"Lovely hotel in a good location!"
Stayed here with my boyfriend and it was great. We had hired a car which you'll need if you want to travel around. You can walk to the beach though and there is a shuttle into Carvoeiro 3 times a day. The hotel is clean and amenities great. The only downside for us was that our bed was extremely uncomfortable. Other than that I would go back there tomorrow!

"Beautiful Hotel - Amazing Professional Staff"
Overall I LOVED this hotel, my favourite part being the man made beach area with comfortable double beds for sunbathing. Also the reception and bar / restaurants are stunning! A warm and welcoming ambience with staff 5 star!, courteous, polite and helpful without being overly in your face. The breakfast and food here was superb! Slightly pricey but I felt reasonable, however the Fushion hotel resturant 3 courses including mineral water for €28 was amazing as the food again really is top notch! It was our best eating experience comparing all the marina restaurants. 2 little issues we had and they were minor - our room on 3rd floor had some tiny ants which were annoying, hotel reacted swiftly but they kept reappearing! And even ended up drinking some of my wine I'd brought back to our room! :-) after 3 days of this the hotel offered us to move rooms but I have a slight disability (the staff probably would not have known this) but it would have been down to my husband to pack and move all our stuff and I didn't want him to have to do it. Also the Hairdryer! A dead weight and so slow it took an age and difficult to dry my hair - this maybe slightly where my disabling condition came in again as I have degenerative disease of the spine and surgery in 3 areas including neck fushion (only done in feb16) meant I couldn't safely lift the hairdryer as it was THAT heavy! We also didn't realise the bin in the room was in the stool in front of the mirror.

"Relaxing stay"
Lovely hotel, very clean, friendly and helpful staff. A little out the way but makes for a quieter, more relaxing location and the shuttle bus to the marina means other amenities are easy to get to. Great breakfast. My only negative would be the tennis rackets and balls supplied by hotel were not in good condition but really a minor thing. Would definitely go back and recommend to others.
