Cobwebs and dust hanging from windows, ceilings and fan was an eyesore. In the accommodation folder says bacon, eggs and yogurts were supplied for breakfast, no yoghurts, and weren’t expecting Aldi packaged sliced ham instead of bacon and Aldi prima’s. « Unfortunately, there were a number of issues that affected our experience. The lamp beside the bed was not working, and the bathroom light was hanging out, which was both inconvenient and concerning. We also found that a pill box had been left in a drawer, which suggests the room was not thoroughly checked prior to our arrival. Lots of dust behind the bed was not good for my allergies. « This apartment was great and has everything you need for a 2 week stay. It’s clean and spacious with all facilities including washing machine and dryer. We also went away for a couple of days without having to worry about our belongings as the building is secure. »

« We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. Renee our host was very helpful and friendly. We had a meal and breakfast which were both excellent. The accommodation was very comfortable and the decor was a lovely change from our usual contemporary. If we get back to Melb for a Yarra Valley visit, Victoria House will be our go to. »

« The Good: check in and parking was easy. We checked in late and found the SMS instructions to get the key from the keysafe very clear. Bed linen and towels were clean - which was a relief. Soap, shower gel and shampoo/conditioner was all fine. The Ugly: bathroom looked clean and could tell it was renovated.
