The unit was spacious with a kitchen equipped for two. It opened by way of sliding doors onto the inner courtyard. The bed was softer than I like. Excellent value.

It’s a great hotel for a quiet nights rest my only disappointment was the toilet seat that had chips thru the paint, showing areas that could not be sanitized😩

What a fabulous stay I had!! Bonnie the manager was absolutely lovely and accomodating with the shuttle services even with my flight arriving late! The beds were very comfortable! I'd definitely stay again!

When is the best time to go to Alda?
The best time to go to Alda, Nebraska, is during the spring (late March to May) if you're interested in wildlife viewing, particularly the Sandhill Crane migration, or in the autumn (September to October) for pleasant weather and fewer crowds.
The spring offers a unique opportunity to witness the Sandhill Crane migration along the Platte River, a truly remarkable natural spectacle. While Alda itself is a small community, its location right on the Platte River makes it an excellent base for accessing prime viewing spots. You'll find tour operators and viewing blinds set up along the river, especially near the Alda exit from Interstate 80, offering close-up experiences with these magnificent birds. For those preferring milder weather for outdoor activities like exploring the local area or simply enjoying the quiet countryside, early autumn is ideal. The temperatures are comfortable, and the summer humidity has typically subsided.
