"The Beautiful interior of this hotel is just wonderful. We were very lucky as we stayed during a very quiet winter period so we’re able to advantage of the setting. Lovely bedroom with en-suite, bed very comfortable. Coffee machine and kettle on the first floor area with a choice of teas. We had breakfast included which was very good and plentiful. Very quiet town only a few minutes walk away. "

"First room offered was unusable as under renovation full of building materials and rubble. Second room given was without any form of heating on a cold January with bedding consisting of sheet and blanket. Totally unacceptable so had to find alternative accommodation at another hotel. Having prepaid we want a full refund. "

"It was a unique experience staying in a refurbished castle. Being that it was chilly outside, it was nice to have a nice cozy room to in which to relax. We were a little disappointed that the main dining room was closed due to heating issues, but we enjoyed a tasty meal if Spanish specialties in the bar area."
