The Wren

"The Wren is exactly as described—a simple, beautifully designed hotel that encourages you to get out and explore Missoula! The rooms are modern with a charming Montana flair, impeccably clean, and mine had a cool street view. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely accommodating. Their flexibility with a late checkout made my final day so much better! Valet service was seamless, and the complimentary access to a nearby gym was a lovely touch. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of great restaurants, including Plonk, which I highly recommend. Although the coffee shop isn’t open yet and amenities are limited, the little convenience store is wonderful. Despite uncooperative weather keeping me tucked up with takeout most evenings, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Missoula is spectacular, and I’d happily return to The Wren!"

"There was a take out container left in the fridge when I checked in, other than that the staff was on point when my rm didn't have any air/heater & moved me within minutes of me calling about it, the room was beautiful, the little perks were nice, breakfast was low-key lacking I felt, the orange juice was watered down sadly yet @ the end of the day I feel they made up for area's they were lacking, well worth the $$ & I'm definitely going again & I suggest checking them out for they're 5 stars."

"If you use the pool during waterslide hours you have to pay. Even for the hot tub. Also, if you have children, be aware that the showers evidently don't have thermostatic valves. Our shower would swing +/-5 degrees constantly and sometimes would spike 15-20 degrees if another room flushed a.toilet or used the sink. Didn't even have to be us. Had to jump out of the water several times. I thought code required that since like the early 90's? Aside from that, the hotel is very nice."

"The room was clean and cozy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is mostly muffins, cereal, and cereal bars, some fruit/yogurt, coffee.. but there is a Montana Wheat in the same parking lot with excellent breakfast pastries and lunch options. I highly recommend eating there. The room was quiet and perfect to stay in after the concert at the kettlehouse amphitheater."
