Alberton Vacation Packages

It was a place to sleep. Beyond that not much to say that is positive. The staff were unfriendly. The room was in disrepair. The mattess was lumpy. Enjoy!

Great breakfast buffet.

Nice B&B, bed was very comfortable and the “help yourself” kitchen with coffee and snacks was perfect! My only issue with hotel is that as a solo traveler, it felt very odd to walk into a home and no one was there. You use a code to get into hotel and room but it still felt uncomfortable to me. I wondered if I was the only one there but then I would hear someone walking up stairs. Just a bit unsettling to me. I think if you stay as a couple, it would be perfect. The coupon for breakfast across the street was wonderful and delicious. I hate to complain because the owners were very thoughtful in providing the comforts of home in the kitchen area and house. Just a heads up for solo women travelers.

We have previously liked staying here with our dog. However we were disappointed to see “upgrades” that had paved over the grassy areas off of the first floor rooms. Access to the river is precarious with no safe path, so walking our dog has now become somewhat inconvenient. Not having a microwave in the room nor a freezer section in the room fridge was also inconvenient. Other than that, it is quiet, clean, and close to downtown.

Great place with friendly efficient staff. The room was large and quiet with a great view. The breakfast had a good variety to choose from. I would certainly stay again and would recommend it.
