This was a great place to stay. Cute little cabin for me and my son to have a guys retreat. Everything is as described. Would definitely stay here again. Only minor thing that might be nice is if there was a more private fire pit close to the cabin.

Wonderful Rustic Cabin getaway out of town but close to everything still! Really great for a family to get together and connect. This place is so quiet and so relaxing with a really great playground area for young kids!
Bring your own propane firepit and propane and this place is such a gem!
We would return with the family every year opposed to going to a really busy campground.

We had a wonderful time. The host was quick to reply and answer all questions I had. The cabin was clean and neat. We loved the rustic and vintage combined. It’s great for couples and families.
Only thing missing is a closer water source and a fire pit for the bugs at night. I’d definitely book again with the entire family.

I’ve traveled to over 40 countries and always try to focus on the positives in my reviews. However, I feel a responsibility to be honest for future guests.
This stay, unfortunately, was one of my worst experiences. The cabin felt more suffocating than relaxing. Right from the start, the space was covered in strict rules and fine warnings, which made it feel tense and unwelcoming.
I had read reviews mentioning a moth problem, but my booking was already confirmed. When I arrived, I found a dead moth in the kitchen sink—and then discovered dozens more alive around the loft window. I spent hours catching them with a wet towel until past midnight, but they kept returning. Even while sleeping, I felt moths on my legs. Please note, the door was always kept shut—this wasn’t due to it being left open.
There were several other issues:
•The toilet smelled bad, and the bathroom door cannot be closed from the outside, so you’re forced to either leave the exhaust fan running all night (and sleep in the noisy house) or sleep in a cabin that smells unpleasant.
•There’s no running water in the sink. A water bottle was placed under the counter, but it leaks when tilted, so it’s practically unusable.
•The Wi-Fi password didn’t work, and the Coffee Mate was expired, ruining my coffee.

Cute, clean cabin close to the campground where family was staying. Cabin does not have running water as stated. We could not check in 45 mins early, key wasn't out yet...we went back while supper was cooking. It was the perfect place for us.
Thankyou Nickie
