Worth a try

The bedroom carpets had been shampooed that day so everything was wet which also made the flooring throughout the house slick (humidity). There were internet issues the first night. While the property manager did handle the internet issue, there were long delays in communication. We ended up leaving early for the safety of my elderly mother (slick floors were a fall hazard).

Nice place, odd checkin though.

Overall, once we into the VRBO, the place was as advertised and fit our needs. It was the space we needed and close to the family we were visiting that lives nearby. Once in the space there was little that we had issues with, though the towels did smell like smoke and the hot water went out faster than we’re accustomed to.But the check in process was one of the more bizarre experiences I’ve had. We messaged the host weeks out and never received a response from that message. We ended up calling VRBO a couple days beforehand since it we never heard back from the host. Ultimately, we did touch base with the host the day of (via a phone call) and the host is nice. But then the host gave a different address for us to be at only to reach out to us and let us know that he to be in a third unit (apparently the host must have separate properties beside each other). The space is nice and if you’re comfortable with not having details until the very last minute and a host that won’t really use the VRBO app messaging center, then you’ll be ok.

Clean, spacious and comfortable with nice patio. Photos don’t do it justice. So much better than a hotel for our 4 day stay. I left a hair dryer for the next guest.

It was great to have two bathrooms. We didn’t know to bring our own coffee. Good TV reception with Roku. We enjoyed visiting the Chehaw Park and Zoo.

My stay in Albany Ga. , 2023

The property was Absolutely beautiful and very clean. And the location of the house is in a very quiet neighborhood. We all felt very comfortable and safe. The only issue is the poor communication with the host but overall, I would recommend this property to anyone, plus I would consider booking further reservations here again if I’m in the area.
