"We enjoyed our stay very much, the environment was gorgeous views all around. And also use of canoes and board were much appreciated. Only thing to know ahead if you like to hike is that the only way to get on hiking trails is through entering the provincial parks. It’s unsure why that is. Never heard of this. Even a local hiker informed me of trails maps and re that fact. Just a heads up the information centre around French river may be permanently closed so it’s useful to search details of...

"Cottage was great. Walk to the water is a bit challenging but not bad. Fishing was ok at times."

"Cabin was recently renovated. Extremely clean and comfortable. Had a extras like towels, toiletries and bedding not usually found in fishing camps. Great river front location on the French River with fantastic view. Slight confusion on check in but staff was patient and it was sorted out quickly. Not just a fishing destination but good for families or anyone that likes nature."

"The cottage sits on a slope up 40 feet approximately from water with a beautiful view of the lake.The stairs could use some improvements and extended down to the water for elderly people. The garage with darts and ping pong was great for the rainy days. The boat house was a bonus also."
