"We loved our view of the harbor from our room. It was interesting to watch the boats come and go. We were entertained and amused to watch the deck hands fillet fish efficiently and effortlessly at the end of each fishing day. "
Comfort and Convenience in Downtown Sitka - Suite B
10/10 Excellent
"The four of us were impressed with the property! Great location for our semiannual fishing trip. Two of our group plan on renting the property next season."
"5 stars – A wonderful stay in Sitka! This was a very comfortable stay and we truly enjoyed our time! The views were absolutely stunning, and even though we were close to the hustle and bustle of downtown Sitka, the area felt peaceful and quiet — a perfect balance. The apartment was older but updated and clean. One helpful note for future guests: the laundry facilities could use a little upkeep. The dryers seemed to have clogged lint traps, so it often took two cycles to fully dry our clothes, even with smaller loads. Each washer and dryer cycle costs 1.50, so when the dryer needed a second run, it added up to about 4.50 per load.It would also be helpful to have a small sign posted in the laundry area noting the cycle times — the washer takes about 30 minutes and the dryer about 45. If you're short on quarters, there are two banks nearby where you can get change. That said, everything else about the stay was wonderful and we would definitely return. Highly recommend!"
