I was honestly disappointed. Poor Customer service and Communication. The staff made it seem like i was inconveniencing them when asking for something or a question. Nothing was properly communicated at check in. When dining the wait for a glass of water was over 10 mins. Also, not very considerate with me having my toddler. This was my second time here (first time experience was great) and i will not be returning.

By far the best part of this resort is the kids club. The staff are so incredibly good with the kids. My 7 year old son had such an amazing time with them that he cried when we left and has begged us to return to the same resort to see the staff and participate again. Thank you Valeria, Jessica, Luis, Paulina, Ireli, Yuli and Jamie. You made a good holiday great! I would give a 5 star overall for the resort however the buffet and a la cart resturaunts had no air conditioning and we melted away at each meal. Other than that it was an amazing holiday.

When we made our A La Carte reservations, we informed guest services of a severe peanut allergy. When we arrived for our reservation at the Indian restaurant in Tulum on May 5th, we informed them again of a severe peanut allergy. After ordering our food, an appetizer arrived at the table. Out of curiosity, I asked what was in the 3 different dips that were provided. One had peanuts and we had to ask to have it taken away. Immediately after, I received my appetizer (Chickpea Samosa). I asked the waiter again to confirm it was peanut free. He assured that it was. After taking one bite, I immediately went into an anaphylaxtic allergic reaction. We had to be rushed to the emergency doctor on the resort where I was given intravenous medication to keep me alive. Our total medical bill was around $1100 USD for paramedics and the on-site doctor. Safe to say the rest of my trip at Bahia was ruined. I was still in medical distress the next day. I was terrified to eat anything. And we were incredibly disappointed that guest services or management did nothing to reach out to us to check if we were okay, to offer us anything, nothing. I would like to discuss this issue with higher management and would love to be able to recommend Bahia to friends and family, but at this point, I can not. In fact, I will recommend that they travel elsewhere.

Great place for a relaxing vacation. Found the double beds supper small and the A/C barely kept the room cool (but it was super hot too). Those were really the only downsides. The food was very good, staff and helpful and professional, bar service was good, pools were great.

There were signs of wear and tear on tile’s ceilings showers that could pose as a hazard. Transport to airport was limited so book a head. We used taxi service were charged an outrageous amount missed our flight and taxi service took full advantage of me this! Beware of scammers who add extra 00 to purchases I had to dispute multiple transactions as well as transactions I did not make!

The property was lovely but a far drive from the airport, especially after a full travel day. The staff was somewhat helpful but were quick to dismiss and send you to someone else. The food is very America and not flavourful at all. We had a hard time eating during our stay. We tipped our room staff well, as the room was always made up well daily and our mini bar was stocked. The pools were great and drinks were plentiful.

Did not have shuttle service booking through Expedia with this all inclusive package. Travelling with my two daughters arriving at the airport was very hectic and overwhelming. There should have been something set up and arranged for travellers to safely arrive at their hotel. We had the worst experience taking a cab with no other choice to arrive there. The cab cost me 300 Canadian dollars which set me back and was an unexpected cost for me and my family. I would never book through Expedia again had I known I had to dish out another 300 after paying thousands for the trip. The shuttle home cost 120 so an additional 420 of travel for me. Not happy.

estuvimos 5 días y fue una de las peores experiencias que tuvimos la comida es horrible y los empleados muy mal encarados siempre como si el cliente molestara se dañó la tv de la habitación y llamamos y nos dijeron que en 20 minutos llegaban y pasaron 3 horas y nadie llegó al final nos llamaron que teníamos que esperar al otro día no tienen servicio a la habitación

I chose this hotel for two reasons: to celebrate 12th anniversary of marriage and because my children are 8 and they love water parks. The kids club is great, my kids love them and they give us time to my wife and me to enjoy our time. So that was the best of the hotel. The food in the buffet was monotonous and lack of options for people that are vegetarian or cannot eat pork or beef. The cocktails were ok but they do not handle anything with milk. The selection of dinning also was a problem since they are overbook and is likely that you cannot get any restaurant of your choice. The staff.. that is hard, some staff were stremely nice and other were rude. My mom is 80 so walking was a problem since the hotel is large. However, nobody from the staff told me that wheelchairs were available, not in the counter nor another staff. I also disappointed with the counter, they asked for all IDs and they knew the age of my mom, but they anyway give second floor, so i asked to change the room which took another hour. One of the rooms i got had a broken AC, i did not notice because i got two connected rooms, and during afternoon, any fresh feels good, bit the second days it was terrible. So i call service and the maintenance guy keep telling it was ok when Clearly it did not get cold, he say it was 22 Celsius and that was not even 25 since i know well temperatures (i live hot whether). Next day we got a room with good AC but the TV was broken. Their food needt o improve

Though this property was very nice, I didn’t not feel like it was truly all inclusive . We were only allowed to have dinner at two restaurants during my almost 5 night stay. There is also no room service . The beach is not in walking distance. You have to catch the trollies. They come around quite often but if it’s full you have to wait. The food is not authentic Mexican food. It is very Americanized which took away from my experience .

Whole stay was amazing from end to beginning. Stuff was very efficient and polite. Food buffet was great. Some a la carte restaurants were excellent. There was one serious problem - lack of air conditioning in restaurants.

Had the most amazing time. This is the only group of resorts where I’ve stayed at multiple times and never disappoints. The staff is great, facilities are great. I recommend paying the extra to get the bracelet where you can go to other facilities.
