I was disappointed with this hotel. The room did not have a safe, nor did the people at the front desk have access to a safe. The hotel did not have ironing boards and the iron they had stained my shirt. Nor were there any laundry facilities at the hotel. The people at the front desk were all very young and could not make recommendations about places to eat or about travel options to the airport/Marseille.

Exceeded expectations
Great hotel for visiting Aix-en-Provence. The bus station next to the hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Free parking is a plus. Would definitely stay again.

Great for a business stay
The hotel is great for a business stay, it has the needed requirement but not more. The restaurant is great but with limited choice. The breakfast has a lot of choices. The room was quiet and fully equipped.

Staff were disorganized from the start of our stay. After check-in we decided to take a short nap before an evening out. About 20 minutes into the nap and we were awoken when another family entered our room. They had been issued a key and ch caked-into the same room as us! A few minutes later that family returned with one of the front desk employees to our room. The IBIS employee was very rude and she told us that we were in the wrong room-when she was the person that had issued us the room key at check-in. It was a horrible experience that was made worse by the fact that neither the employee nor her manager ever apologized to us for their mistake, our privacy being violated, nor for the rudeness we experienced from staff. Furthermore, the facilities are antiquated and housekeeping was very poor.

Pros: Clean, stylish, convenient (right next to the motorway, easy checking in and out, English-speaking staff). Good breakfast buffet with French and American breakfast items. Clean room/bathroom. Average: Small rooms (typical of French hotels at this rate). No way to make hot water in the morning (again, very typical). Cons: Not many restaurants and such since it is on the far side of the town. Very little amenities -- only one towel per guest, no lotion, etc. No iron/ironing board.

Standard European hotel
We found the grounds very secure since it was gated. This was our 1st encounter with a European modern moderate hotel. We found the amenities the basic that we would except. We use this hotel as the minimum standard for where we would stay since we were used to american chains like Hilton or Marriott. During or travels we stayed at several IBIS hotels.

Nice plave to stay
Nice friendly hotel with free parking. The breakfast was very good woth a lot of choices. The hotel is close to downtown Aix, only 3 km away

Great base from which to visit Aix en Provence
A very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. We took the bus into Aix rather than driving which was much better than trying to find parking etc. Breakfast was very good. We did find it difficult to locate the hotel as our maps app was not working. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Low budget hotel, has smells and found hair on bed and in shower. No fridge, pool closed without reason. One night is enough I would not recommend or return for more than that. At least the price was decent with advance purchase.

Typical package hotel of this type. The restaurant was a little basic and the choice was limited by the kitchen running out of one of the pasta choices for the fixed price menu - what made matters worse was that they had run out on Tuesday evening and hadn't replenished stocks by Thursday night!

I do recommend the hotel!
Check-in was easy, the room was comfortable, and breakfast was delicious! The reassurance of being in a known chain hotel with familiar structure, in a different country is priceless. There is one suggestion, though: because the restaurant closes at 10pm, and there is no room service, maybe there could be cold sandwiches for sale for those who don´t make it on time for dinner. And one small remark: we arrived for breakfast 30 minutes prior to time limit, and waitresses were all rushing to disassemble the buffet and uncomfortable with our presence: not nice. But overall, I do recommend the hotel!

Good location for business travel
Hotel was clean and service was good. A nice pool area is available although did not have time to enjoy it. Location is good being quite close to Aix centre, although car or taxi will be needed to get to the centre. Room was clean but is not very large - nevertheless sufficient for one night stay whilst on business trip.

Great hotel in Aix en Provence
We had a great stay at this hotel at the beginning of September, 2017. Although, not very central the hotel is well positioned especially if you have a car. The gated grounds provides great comfort from a security perspective. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly, willing to help with anything they could. The food was great and reasonably priced. Very clean inside the hotel and outside where you can spend time by the pool, in the lobby, in the garden or on the patio. If in the area will use this hotel again. Thank you for a great stay.
