Palm Dades

10/10 Excellent

"Very welcoming staff throughout the property, dinner and breakfast were well above expectations."

Auberge Restaurant Zahra

10/10 Excellent

Kasbah Flilou

10/10 Excellent

The hotel was spotless, and our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout our stay. The team was attentive to our needs and responded quickly to any questions we had. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

Eden Boutique Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Absolutely incredible beyond any comprehension, and I invest in luxury hotels globally! The owner Ismail designed, engineered and built the property to a level of unbelievable specifications, unmatched creativity and supreme quality. He also gives tours, works the front desk and serves meals with kindness and care. The entire staff including his three brothers follow in his footsteps when it comes to delivery long impeccable and sophisticated, yet humble and embracing hospitality. Truly a rare treat for a family that has stayed in many of the most acclaimed properties in the world."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Aït Hani?

The best area to stay in Aït Hani is generally within the village centre itself, as it offers the most convenient access to local amenities and the starting points for exploring the surrounding Atlas Mountains.

The village centre is quite compact, with most guesthouses and local eateries clustered along the main road that passes through Aït Hani. You'll find it easy to walk between various points of interest, like the small shops selling local crafts and the traditional kasbahs that dot the landscape. It's the hub for local life and where you'll find the most developed infrastructure.

For couples seeking an authentic and relaxed experience, staying in a guesthouse within the village centre is ideal. Many establishments offer rooms with views of the surrounding valleys and mountains, providing a tranquil setting. You'll be well-placed to organise guided treks or simply enjoy the slow pace of rural Moroccan life, perhaps with a cup of mint tea on a terrace overlooking the stunning scenery.

Solo travellers will also find the village centre to be the most practical choice. It provides easy access to local guides for hiking and opportunities to connect with other travellers. The concentration of guesthouses means there's a good chance of finding a welcoming place that can help arrange activities or provide advice on local exploration.

When is the best time to go to Aït Hani?

The best time to go to Aït Hani is during spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October).

During these months, the weather is pleasantly warm and sunny, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding landscapes and enjoying outdoor activities. Average daytime temperatures range from 20°C to 28°C, great for hiking or simply relaxing. The scenery is particularly picturesque in spring as the valleys are green and wildflowers bloom.

Couples looking for a romantic and scenic getaway will find these seasons particularly appealing. The comfortable weather allows for leisurely walks through the stunning High Atlas Mountains and along the Assif Melloul river, often without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. It's also a great time for photography, capturing the natural beauty of the region.

Families with older children who enjoy outdoor adventures will also appreciate these times of year. The moderate temperatures are suitable for activities like trekking or visiting local villages without being too strenuous for younger travellers.
