"We stayed in the old traditional Lipari home and it was absolutely beautiful. For a couple, there was nothing better than waking up to the view out over the sea in the morning as the sun was rising. The property was so quiet and peaceful too. We could have breakfast on the porch, swim and snorkel in the private rock pool and along the coast and shower outside beside the house. We were concerned when we were coming close to the hotel because we did not realize that is in the outskirts of Siracusa, in an area filled with non-impressive apartment buildings.
