"For me, it was adequate for my 4nite stay. I did not plan to spend many waking hours in the room. The bathroom had not been cleaned prior to my arrival (i,e., 1/2 used shampoo bottle & 1 used bar of soap). Only a thin blanket & bedcover for warmth (the low temp was in the low 40s). The bedside wall sconce lamp was not functioning. The window heater worked well. The 1irst floor room was quiet. There were some sparse breakfast items available (hot cereal choices), but since I was meeting people for meals, I didn’t partake. They did permit late 2 hour late checkout. If I was with any traveling companion, I would probably not stay there."

"I very rarely complain, I was looking forward to staying at the hotel. When we arrived it was late and the lobby, empty, was fairly dark (which I understand given the time frame), it took fairly long awhile for someone to come to the front desk. I rang the desk bell a few times until eventually someone came. I understand that the hotel is older but the rooms were filthy (more so the bathroom), just dirty. We went for breakfast in the am that was suppose to be open until nine and we arrived at 8:30 with very limited to no options (no meat, fruit, items in fridge, bagels etc) and items were being cleaned up when we arrived (cereals, milk, pancake items etc). It was all ok but I think first impression was disappoint"

"The room was clean and coffee maker well stocked. Pool was clean, warm and great fun."
