"The bed mattress had to be over 20 years old. You could feel every hole and I think it had spring coils in it. There were long BLACK hairs in the sink (I’m blonde) on arrival. For a queen size bed you only get 2 old pillows and a duvet with cigarette burn holes in it. After 10 minutes in the room I was soooo grossed out I had to ask for a refund and depart to another hotel. I couldn’t stay. And I am not ever picky. The entire motel needs a makeover. I also did not feel safe. There must be subsidies residents living on the property. Lots of smokers outside. "

"Our stay was decent and staff were friendly, but hotel and parking area was run down and disorganized. A bit dirty overall, elevator was in unsafe condition, and no hot tub contrary to what was said. Online it said there was breakfast and a deal at the attached diner, which was not the case in person. Would not be my first choice in the future, but not my very last option either."

"Property in good condition overall. Mainly booked this property due to the close proximity to the University of New Hampshire and downtown Durham. Rooms are modern. Shower was decent. Beds are comfortable. I've stayed here several times over the past 4 years, and one thing that's a negative is the quality of the hot breakfast has deteriorated....but it's still a good perk they provide a hot breakfast included with your stay. "

"Stayed in the carriage house, which I alway love. Room was excellent.. just wish they had more outlets. But that is not why I stay there. It is a feel good place. Feels welcome and comfortable.. "

"Just a fabulous farmhouse with modern amenities. Our host David was wonderful. We had the house for a month and hope to stay again next winter. The first floor is awash in sunlight, sitting on an elevation looking down over blueberry bushes and farm fields. The interior spaces are beautifully decorated with lovely art and textures. Heated bathroom floors- yay! Bedding is terrific. "
