"A bit disappointing this time around. There were no lamps in the room, the outlets were hard to access, the shower caulking was falling apart, and the wifi didn't work in the room so I had to hotspot. Okay for one night but would have been difficult to have an extended stay. The location is of course superb and the staff at the coffee shop is really lovely and super helpful. "

"I absolutely loved my stay at Westport Woods Hotel and Spa! It’s in such a charming area right by the quay, with plenty of walkable dining options and a small grocery store just around the corner. The staff were incredible - so welcoming and helpful. Everything was very clean, the buffet breakfast was top notch, and the pool, sauna, and steam room were a lovely bonus. It was the perfect place to reset and recharge after staying in hostels. I would absolutely stay here again!"

The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island. We had such a nice time there and hope to return next summer when the weather is better. "This was PERFECT stay for us as we traveled around the west of Ireland. Everything was great. Even though they don't have their own car park (aka parking lot), there's a municipal one across the street for only 2 Euro. I do want to note that our room did not have an air conditioner. There was a fan in the closet, so I'm pretty sure that's accurate. If you travel there in the summer, and it's hot, you want to be prepared for that - especially for Americans expecting every place to have AC. We will DEFINITELY be going back to Westport and staying at The Mariner again."
