The lighthouse has been restored and is beautiful! There is a short hike to the lighthouse from the road. It is open for tours, but the times vary, so if that is on your list of things to do while on the island....you will want to check on the dates it is open at the beginning of your visit.

« Very clean room. Rented a small boat from them and took our dogs with us; they loved being on a boat! Beautiful views of the water and assateague lighthouse right from the property, especially at sunset. We paid for the water taxi to take us to a secluded beach for a few hours. The dogs got to run in the sand, and we saw the wild horses on the same shore as us maybe 100 yards away! The staff was very attentive. »

« This place is amazing. Celeste is a joy to work with and very accessible during her availability hours. Not only was she great with us, but I could tell she has a good working relationship with the property owner. The only issues we had were QOL. The main television was a bit of a trial to get VUDU/Fandango for after hours when we got home. But Celeste was on top of it the very next morning and arrived at the exact time she quoted. The shower curtain was a bit on the short side for a curved...

« Very delightful cottage! The owners have done a wonderful job with this rental. It was sparkling clean, very tastefully decorated and all the amenities were top notch including crisp sheets, plush towels and quality dishware. The front porch is massive and if this wasn't enough, there is a comfy screened in porch with eating and sitting areas and cafe lights strung around the perimeter. We really appreciated all of it.
