We felt safe there as well. The condo was freshly remodeled and really was beautiful and had pretty much everything we needed. We were there in Jan. so didn't go to the beach so can't comment on supplies for the beach but we did walk to the beach and it was fairly close (not a bad walk at all). The owner was very responsive to our needs.
