"We stayed for 3 nights and reserved 2 rooms. First day of arrival, the only elevator was not working and we had to use the stairs until they finally fixed it on our last day of stay. The rooms were spacious and clean however the towels are worn out. Also, there is no air conditioning in the common areas, and can get hot walking up and down the stairs. There is only one restaurant in the hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, it was a decent hotel for the duration of our stay. "

"It was really nice and quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. It was about 20 mins away from the main city center though so if you wanted to go around for shopping and eating out- you would need to use their private shuttle which is about P650 each way. You can also take a trike for P30 per person but that might be a bit far. There is another eating/shopping area closer to the resort which is about 5-10 mins in a trike. Smaller though. The property also had a small pier...

"This place was perfect for us. My children and I enjoyed the proximity to restaurants and shopping in town, including diving shops, spas, and recreational activities. Breakfast was excellent and unique each day, the bar was well stocked, and the restaurant provided a convenient backup to any meal needs we had. "We stayed three nights are El Rio Y Mar Resort and wish we could have stayed a week. This resort is hands down the best resort we have stayed at in the Philippines. It's very secluded from the hustle and bustle of Coron yet close enough that you can still do the island hopping tours and excursions. "It was really nice and quiet. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. It was about 20 mins away from the main city center though so if you wanted to go around for shopping and eating out- you would need to use their private shuttle which is about P650 each way. You can also take a trike for P30 per person but that might be a bit far. There is another eating/shopping area closer to the resort which is about 5-10 mins in a trike. Smaller though. The property also had a small pier with a bar where you can enjoy the sunsets. It was also convenient for private tours as the tour picked you right up from the pier so no need to go anywhere else. Breakfast buffet was spectacular but the drinks at the bar needed work. Overall a great experience. "
