Monasterio de San Miguel

Virgen de los Milagros, 27, El Puerto De Santa Maria - Map
Slight problem finding hotel due to road closure outside . A heads up before arrival would have made life easier. Otherwise staff friendly, helpful and efficient . Excellent buffet breakfast. Hotel interesting and quirky.

Hotel Monte Puertatierra

Avenida de Andalucia, 34, Cadiz - Map
"Overall View"
We stayed at this hotel for nine nights from 3.10.16. . We were made very welcome by the staff and we found them to be very helpful. We had the buffet breakfast each morning, 12€ extra, but it was well worth the extra cost. There was an excellent variety of hot and cold food which the staff kept replenished. If you book directly with the hotel the breakfasts are free if you stay for more than 3 nights. We booked through Expedia! All areas of the hotel were spotlessly clean. The hotel has an underground car park (additional charge) but we found parking on the street easy and free of charge. For snack food and drinks there is a large Carrefour supermarket next door.

Parador De Cadiz - Cadiz Hotels

Parador De Cadiz

Avda. Duque de Nájera, 9, Cadiz - Map
"Modern, spotless"
Not your typical Parador, this one was very modern with great sea views, a fantastic pool area(floating beds were great) as was the jacuzzi which I had all to myself. Check in time is between 2-3pm which we thought was a bit odd and if you were going to be later you would have to let them know, we were later due to slight flight delay and therefore phoned, but this was not a problem. We arrived at 15.10, but our room wasn't ready, so they gave us a voucher for a drink in the bar while we waited. We were on the Half Board deal, good choice from the menu, but this did not change all week, so by the end of the week we had tried everything. Rooms were clean, but the open plan bathroom was a bit short of space for toiletries etc and the sliding glass door to the toilet left little to the imagination of the person lying in bed with full view (this is my only complaint), not sure if all the rooms are laid out like ours was. Bat was huge, like a floatation tank. Beds comfortable with lovely crisp white sheets. Staff very friendly and helpful. Easy to find, just follow the coast road into Cadiz.

Hotel Puerto Sherry

Avenida Libertad S/N, El Puerto de Santa Maria - Map
"Proximity to Jerez"
The hotel didn´t seem to be completed. It was a bit like the Marie Celeste. Getting to the dining room was difficult for me, recovering from a hip operation, and finding stairs without hand rails difficult.

"OK hotel, difficult to access. "
It's a nice hotel, but reaching it - even with a navigation system, was difficult.

Hotel Duque De Najera

Calle Gravina 2, Rota - Map
"Nice Hotel close to Rota Navel Base"
We were looking for an upscale place to stay while visiting our son at the Rota Naval Base. Rota is clean small town lots to do within walking distance. The town of Cadiz is a short enjoyable ferry ride away and a nice inexpensive excursion. Across the plaza from the hotel is an interesting church very ornate, a small café and a bakery. The hotel bar and daily breakfast and dinner buffet are well worth the money with plenty of excellent selections.

Playa Victoria - Cadiz Hotels

Playa Victoria

Plaza Ingeniero La Cierva, 4, Cadiz - Map
"Good Location - right in front of the beach"
Location of the hotel is excellent, just next to the beach. However, the weather is not good when we stayed there, so not a sunny beach. The fitting out of the hotel is rather old, and you can see worn out paint of the bathroom door. The most unpleasant thing is the WIFI. Signals received intermittently, and re logon were always requested.
