All our needs were addressed with joy and compassion. The hosts offered detailed advice about all the great places to visit. My husband had a health issue and we were pointed to the best clinic. The pool was an added bonus. The hotels location is within 5 mins walk to the restaurants and bars and only a 10 min walk to the beach. "Summer Dream was the best hotel we could ask for. It was extremely modern, great view, and the town of Rethymno has a wonderful downtown area. If you go, I recommend Achinos, I believe it is spelled. The best food we had in Greece. Summer dream is also located next to many markets including SKYNKA, which is walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here. It was the best part of our trip in Crete. "

"Lovely family hotel in a great location, a few minutes walk from the beach and around 10 minutes from the Old Town. The rooms are small but if you're not spending too much time there it isn't a problem. The bathrooms are also on the small side however there are larger showers in the basement which can also be used (alhtough you wouldn't want to be tall!). All in all an excellent hotel with a 5 star service. If I returned to Rethymnon, I would definitely stay there. "

"Amazing hotel, located next to the beach (just need to cross the road). Very friendly staff and attentive. One evening there were rain and they offered us umbrella and there was other small details to make our stay better. We had a room with sea view. Room was clean, had fridge and electric stove, so you can warm your food. Also they had plates and cutlery. There is no parking next to the hotel, but we find a space just in 2 minutes walk. City centre is in walking distance. "
