« The hotel decor was perfect for the historical aesthetic and the room, itself, was comfortable. However, it was at the back of the hotel right next to the outside generator which hummed all night long. The morning coffee was weak and cold and the scones and fritatta were inedible. They consider the "free" breakfast as an amenity but you pay for it as part of the "resort fee". Aside from that, the service was very good and the food in the restaurant was quite good, as well. »

« The only place we stay in grass valley. Quiet. Easy walking distance to downtown. Great happy hour and hand made omelets in the morning for breakfast. »

« I was told the key was in the door so no entrance instructions were necessary. The key was in the door, the door was unlocked, and couldn't be locked. I tried again and again, but the door would not lock. I had to bring my valuables with me when I left the cabin as it was not safe to leave them in an open cabin. The back door off the kitchen was also unlocked when I arrived. I was concerned that safety was not a priority. Also, there was coffee, thank you, but no sugar or sweetener - that...

« Very nice place. Had all the things we needed. Did not have air conditioning so it was a bit hot. Was not able to get property to text or call me back with check in instructions and key code so I had to continually call u til I found someone to help me. But other than that is was a good stay »
