« Hey there, just got back from a trip to Ecuador and I have to let you know about this place "Yumbo Spa & Resort". You have to check it out. It is the perfect place to get away from it all and re-connect with your love one. It sits in the middle of the Andean rain-forest about an hour out of Mindo. The grounds are beautiful and filled with many exotic birds, trees and animals. The owner, Pedro and his staff and family are the best. « This is my favorite place I’ve ever stayed. It’s a 300 year old Spanish hacienda. Beautiful. Well maintained grounds. Extremely helpful staff. Wonderful, daily breakfast included. All of this said, this is an old building. Do not expect modern amenities like an in room tv, coffee maker or fridge. Do expect an in room wood burning fireplace that the staff lights for you every night. Do expect a very very cool, old bar. Do not miss their opening night drink including a 3 song performance by an...
