"Hotel is nice my only negative is that they don’t except cash anywhere in the hotel not at checkout not in restaurant and not even in the bar. We had a family room on the top floor which was big bright & spacious shower was very good plenty hot water. We had bottles of water biscuits tea coffee milk kettle ironing board. Couldn’t fault our room. Breakfast was excellent lots of cereals yogurts fresh fruits etc plus the usual bacon eggs sausage etc."

"Lovely place to stay if you have a vehicle but it is a bit far to get into downtown Alnwick and the Castle and Gardens. It is about a 30 minute walk. Uber and cabs are dicey at best. We took the bus, but it only runs hourly. Restaurant was great with a good breakfast that was included. Rooms are nice, but no fridge. The staff we interacted with were very friendly."

You could not walk anywhere from the accommodation but Alnwick town and attractions were excellent. the owners of the property were very attentive and friendly. the rooms were very clean and the showers were always hot.
